Set "today" to Oct 15 and open https://rcn.io/calendars/usac-2017

Steps

Issue can be reproduced on stage now http://rcn-io-staging.herokuapp.com/calendars/usac-2017

open above link
make sure you see empty calendar with no upcoming events
click on "hide past 73 events"

Observed: link stays same
Expected: link becomes "show all 73 events just like it does on live
