This issue comes from the GeoDCAT-AP 3.0.0 pilot. It is a minor issue, but we think it could help to others, too.

In the Czech National Metadata Profile (ISO metadata) most of the string items are bilingual (Czech and English translation). In case we have gmd:country as bilingual there is a problem. You can see this part of the metadata below:

The transformation ends with the error:
Error on line 1720 of iso-19139-to-dcat-ap.xsl:
XPTY0004: A sequence of more than one item is not allowed as the first argument of
normalize-space() ("Česká republika", "...")
