This document outlines how to propose changes or make contributions to the DSCI-310_Group-Project_Group8 repository.
Since this is a public repository, if you are not a main owner/contributor of this project, please abstain from making any changes to the main branch to avoid potential conflicts or adding undesirable changes that might disrupt the stability of the exisiting code.
Before you generate a pull request, please be sure to file an issue beforehand so that someone from the team can agree that it is a necessary bugfix or feature addition and confirms that changes should be made or added to the code.
If your contribution is approved, you can proceed with the pull request process.
- Create a new git branch where you plan to make your new features or bug fixes.
- Ensure that you are using the correct environment, see resources folder for yaml file.
- Ensure that you read the README.md file for more information on the project and the associated package dependencies.
- After adding your changes or fixs to the new branch in the remote repository, you can then generate a pull request.
- Please be mindful that it may take some time for contributors to review and make comments about your change.
- If a team memeber approves, your changes will be mereged to the main branch of the project.
