Some Indication of Popularity/Repute

Request for Link Shell Extension in Scoop Extras

Link Shell Extension is a popular tool for managing hard links, symbolic links, and junctions in Windows, widely used by developers, system administrators, and gamers for advanced file management. It integrates seamlessly into Windows Explorer, making it easy to create links via the context menu.

Why it fits in Scoop Extras:

  • Popularity: While it doesn't have a GitHub repo, it's well-known and often recommended in forums for file management tasks.
  • Functionality: Allows creation of hard links and symbolic links with a simple right-click in Explorer.
  • GUI Tool: Best suited for Extras as it's a GUI tool, not a command-line utility.
  • Proven Effectiveness: Installed and works flawlessly through Scoop.
