When installing Microsoft PowerToys via the MS Store, the user's Documents folder gets cluttered with a
PowerShell
folder because PowerToys unfortunately creates files in the folderC:\Documents\PowerShell\Modules\Microsoft.PowerToys.Configure
. The files areMicrosoft.PowerToys.Configure.psd1
andMicrosoft.PowerToys.Configure.psm1
. I'm not sure if those files are created during install or when PowerToys is run and configured by the user.If PowerToys is instead installed using Scoop, does it prevent PowerToys from creating this folder and the files within?
Because I'm not sure exactly what triggers the folder/files to be created, I'm hoping someone who has installed PowerToys via Scoop can look in their Documents folder and see if
\Documents\PowerShell\Modules\Microsoft.PowerToys.Configure
exists. TIABeta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
