Blackjack

Get closer to twenty one than the dealer, without going over.

A hand is scored by totalling the points of each card. The highest hand is the "blackjack", consisting of an Ace and any 10 point card. This two card hand outranks all other 21 point hands.

Game Phases

A session starts when you sit down to play blackjack. Within a session many matches may be played. After a session starts, a match will begin with wagering and end with scoring. When a match ends you may play another by remaining seated or end the match by standing up and ending the session.

Starting

A game session is starting.

• Decide if you really want to play blackjack.
• Prepare cards and table for a new game session.
• Ensure each player is ready for a new game session.

Session Wagering

A game match is wagering.

• Each player declares the bet they have wagered.

Match Dealing

A game match is dealing.

• Shuffle the cards.
• Deal two cards to each player hand.

Match Playing

A game match is playing.

• Each player will hit for another card until they decide to stand.

Match Scoring

A game match is scoring.

Session Exiting

A game session is exiting.
