I got both the original lamppost.x (binary) model file and its ascii conversion to work by using basiceffect. So now the model can be drawn as is. There are only two things I've could not resolve yet, the emissive of the lamp still is missing and the shadow of the lamp post against the wall disappears.

Apologies, missed the notifications on here for some reason.
Did you manage to resolve the issue @neau33 or is it still outstanding?

Episodes 1,2 and 3 should fully work as these were upgraded to MonoGame 3.8 and I don't recall any other issues in their conversion.
