It appears that the RP2040 is capable of generating clock signals on output pins. Would it be possible to supply a 24mhz clock output for use with the Wiimote camera to greatly reduce circuit size (compared to using a crystal oscillator)?
Note that I'm no coder myself, so whether this is actually possible, I am unsure about.

@samuelballantyne sent me an early implem of this, I just haven't had the time to add it.

Because of the added pin variable, this would necessitate a save ver and major ver bump since it is technically a breaking change, as minimal as it might sound.
