How to give different background color for the selected header or background color, like we can set the text color for the active and inactive title ?

Being newbie in iOS development I was able to use this wonderful control after just a few hours of trying. The changing tab colors as nihtin9mk asks would make it absolutely top. Sorry not trying myself - that is normally my approach but to little knowledge in this area... I tried to find some event/callback that I can hook to in the moment the tabs are changed but no chance there, not talking about the fact that the properties is impossible to change after data is bound.

Hey! Thanks for your comments. It's definitely something I'd like to add, but if I do it I want to do it well, and would need to think about how to change the colour of the selected header (animate in) and how well that would work as the user scrolls. So I might add it in the future, but not right now. It'll be high on my list though :-)

Thanks Tom! I know the feeling, people asking me for new features constantly too :) I am not in haste. For me even the non-animated version would be enough but surely it looks better when animated. To find a similar control for Android was extremely easy too - that one has this feature - maybe you can find some inspiration there. It is on this page: http://cforbeginners.com/XamarinProjects.html. Many thanks once again for such a quick and positive reaction 👍
