And the acceleration value is quite high... we should change that!

The solution seems to be

  1. Set "Pointer threshold" to 0. As a result, the Pointer acceleration speed will be applied at all times
  2. Adjust "Pointer acceleration" to liking

I guess there is again a settings file that can simply be altered to achive this
