Currently we install the mesa drivers for AMD gpus. This of course is only of limited use if we want to make steam run properly on Arch.

Where do the mesa drivers meet their limits? According to the Wikipedia Page AMD is primarily pushing mesa drivers.
Is the point to install AMD drivers in addition?
