by the way, there doesn't seem to be a way to authenticate. Am i missing something? Is it a separate tool?

... Win 11 have button for #, but that doesnt solve problem - almost all videos (doesnt matter if videos is private or not) application will not download. Bug is maybe in older Youtube Explode subpart of this app.

I hope app will be soon fixed 🙂

Absolutely the same problem, which occures since 3 days.
Always the message: >>> Video 'xyz' is unplayable. Reason: 'Please #' <<<<
Seems to be a new YT protection.
Hope there will be a solution, fix, update soon since the downloader is a superb program !

Same here :-( (Macbook Pro M1 Max Sonoma 14.7.1 (23H222)) I hope this is able to be patched but wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for this even existing in the first place! Invaluable app!

btw forgot to write: it worked sofar perfectly until 3-4 days ago on Win10 and Win11 without signing in at all.
Think it must be a new YT protection in place.
It is such a great program. Hope there will be a patch soon.

FYI...
4K Video Downloader (https://www.4kdownload.com/) is able to download videos from YouTube without requiring any kind of registration.

The current issue should therefore also be solvable in Tyrrrz/YoutubeDownloader. I would be happy if Oleksii could get his YoutubeDownloader working again.

Oh. That's interesting, actually. What was the underlying cause in the first place? I'm curious.
