as seen above, it matches a single letter to "star-struck" emoji but can't match eyes

Put 'em eye face' some weird things is happening with the key words. I'll check the code and see if I can help to improve the extension.

Sounds like something funky in the data. Possibly fixed by #7? I think :eyes: should give the result as intended

The regular search has always been mixed for me though, since it searches the CLDR name as well as a list of keywords, leading to results that usually don't capture what the user intended.

me too lol. I still think this issue should stay open - it'd be worth it to see if we can make the non-shortcode-search a bit better. @LeandroPelegrini LMK if you come up with anything!
