Identifiers.org suggest to use the purl prefix instead of the www for the Uniprot URIs: http://purl.uniprot.org/uniprot/{​$id}. Consider changing to that?

I also found this explicitly mentioned in Fig. 4 of the paper Identifiers for the 21th century: the purl.uniprot.org is the URI and is unchangeable, the www.uniprot.org is the URL and it may change (though highly unlikely in this case!)
