I'm just discovering bazel-steward, so I don't know how much this feature request is feasible or not, but we manage our dependencies using bazel-deps.

Is it possible for bazel-steward to handle these kind of dependencies ?

Hi! Sorry but these rules are currently not supported. For java, only rules_jvm_external are supported.
