[perf] user-select: none is expensive #21

user-select: none style causes an unconditional paint even when there is no selection (see https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=636134).
In Firefox this happens also for pointer-events: none https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1294233
