@pombredanne Sorry for replying that late, I was out-of-office for a longer time, thanks in advance for your understanding.
Regarding your question: This is not a license (or any kind of restriction to the declared license). It's just a disclaimer (that's why we are using this field in the dep5 file) to indicate users that they need to check the license, terms etc. of dependencies to this open source project. The project itself is not affected by this disclaimer. That's way I wouldn't expect that scancode reports anything else but the actually declared license (e.g. Apache-2.0).
Is there additional metadata that you want to process and report besides the license (I have to admit I don't know all options of scancode)?
