I have a description (i.e. An Example Table) on a centered table

The table is centered but the description is left aligned, like this;

. I expected the description to be left aligned to the centered table:

Is there a setting for that?

I agree. This is a layout bug. I forget to check this scenario when I enabled table alignment. The same would be true for a right-aligned table.
