Please, consider using https://github.com/mapbox/node-pre-gyp to supply pre-compiled binaries with the driver. Compilation from sources takes a long time and could be a real problem in some scenarios. For example, when using Travis cloud service for automated testing it takes about 15 minutes for recompiling node-firebird driver only on every test iteration.
