At the end of June, the ARDC will launch a survey to better understand how researchers find research software. The results of this survey will be used to identify priority areas for the development of relevant infrastructure and guidance development to better enable researchers to access leading edge software tools for research. If you're interested in completing the survey yourself, or to assist in passing the survey on for others to complete, please register your early interest and you'll be amongst the first to know when it goes live. |

Open invitation, please share with researchers: How do you find research software? Please help us complete the survey to uncover the answer. We encourage all researchers, in particular, researchers who code, to participate. The survey takes 10 mins and is anonymous. Your responses will help inform future research infrastructure priorities and facilitate software access for researchers. Closing 14 August 2022. TAKE THE SURVEY NOW and share the URL https://bit.ly/findsoftware We thank you for your assistance in boosting the participation in the survey. With kind regards, News article invitation: https://ardc.edu.au/news/researcher-survey-how-do-you-find-code-for-research/ |

The question of how do researchers find research software is very relevant to make research software more visible.
The responses to this question might facilitate and improve findability of research software. Will inform repository managers and research software authors of what fields are to be included in their software in order to improve the findings of their assets.
We would like us to share your opinions on this question. What you know and what you would like to learn.
The ARDC will be working on a survey and encourages people who are interested in the development and analysis to reach out.
