We're using CodeTaskFactory at the moment, which only runs on Windows.

Some possible options:

  • Switch to RoslynCodeTaskFactory (RoslynCodeTaskFactory requires Visual Studio 2017 v15.8 or higher)
  • Create a custom MSBuild task targeting .NET Standard 2.0
  • (other?)
