write: yes, copy: yes, move: no -- Question

Hi y'all. Simple question since I lost my previous config and am rebuilding T_T

In one of my setups, I have the following:

import:
  write: yes
  copy: yes
  move: no

I don't want to touch the source files at all, but I do want the copied files to have the proper tags. Is that what this setup accomplishes? As in, the files I'm reading will not have tags written to them, but the copied files will have the new tags?
