I have tried building a VM in both Fusing and VMware Workstation using the ISO (1.0.3) and I continue to get the following error:

Bringing up interface eth0: Error: Connection activation failed: No suitable device found for this connection.

I'm having the same issue as you, have you figured out any solutions?

Could you please check if the interface name using "ifconfig". The installation script disable new interface naming. It may have not set it properly.

Can you paste me content of "/etc/default/grub"
