!= is not equal sign with a slash

In the theme, != did not change to its expected form, which is an equal sign with a slash

This sounds like an issue with your font and ligatures. If you change the theme to something other than Catppuccin does the != look like an equals sign with a slash?

I am using JetBrainMonos Nerd Font. This font works on Geany and my terminal. Here are some example images of what I am talking about:

Yes. If it is still broken without the Catppuccin theme on, it can't be caused by Catppuccin.
