Hi! Have you considered adding support for Scala Native? Cats Effect got a working runtime on that platform so it might be nice to bring more libraries like this to the native world.

I'm not that familiar with Scala Native, but my understanding is that 0.4.x is only for Scala 2, while 0.5.x supports Scala 3. Is that correct? If so, I think we need to wait for a bunch of our dependencies to be published for 0.5.x.

That's not exactly it - both support both, however the Cats ecosystem is currently sort of stuck on 0.4 so we'd have to use that for starters. Looks like there's a PR that does at least some of the work: #502
