By default, I choose to activate the Randomize Filename feature, but sometimes, I want the filename to be the real one, so it is nice to have a little box in the window of the reply to check or uncheck this feature [for this reply only]

for instance, there can be a little box in the QR:

-if the Randomize Filename feature is already activated, the box is checked, and to disable the feature, we must click on the box [to get it unchecked]
the next reply, the box will be checked

-if the Randomize Filename feature is not activated, the little box is not checked and we can check it for this reply only.
The next reply, the box will be unchecked.

I'd find this pretty useful, too.
Or maybe just a small button in the file field (like the "Post from url" button) that randomizes the filename when clicked.

sometimes, the file name conveys a relevant message, so instead of saving the file, rename it, then re-upload it, would it be also possible to modify the file name in the window of the reply ?

Instead of adding more buttons, how about making it so pressing Control+Z (or whatever your browser uses for Undo) in the filename field restores the original filename?

I added a basic confirm box in my installed script because I too would find myself torn between wanting one or the other. Perhaps instead of a button the confirm box could be added as a child preference below the 'randomize' option.

I'd find this very useful as well.
If it's not possible, has the Ctrl+Z shortcut alternative been implemented? I tried but it didn't work (Firefox Nightly).

More requests:

#1409

I have random filename enabled but sometimes you want the file name to remain intact. While it's possible to temporarily change it in the settings I think it would be more convenient to override it by using a shortcut or something? Like ctrl+click on file upload instead of just clicking, maybe make it so it inverses the value so that people who have filename randomize disabled can use the same combo to temporarily enable it.

#1573, #1574

Similar to #1409, it would be nice to have an easier shortcut/toggleable option to randomize filenames. Possibly where the file options are currently underneath the captchas, or a checkbox you could tick. A keyboard shortcut is fine if it also provides feedback when active.

#1848

Hi 4chan-X devs!
While I use "Randomize Filename" option all the time and love its privacy features, occasionally I'd like to show the original filename. It's a giant pain to have to go to settings to change that so I was wondering if it would be possible to do that through Quick Reply dialog. QuickReply dialog already has few icons for various options so I'm thinking that adding "Turn off/on Randomize Filename" could also work in there.
Thanks!

#2200

Sometimes I want to randomize the filename and sometimes I don't. I don't see why I would have to go to the settings menu to change it. It should be like the spoiler checkbox.

Was going to make a new thread to request this, it would be nice if it could be a button instead. That way I can keep Pixiv filenames so people can find the source and randomize everything else.

I like the idea of putting a button somewhere in the QR dialog box. I'd replace this totally useless "Edit with Tegaki" button with a Show/Hide Filename button.
