The website shows the version number v1.0.2, yet this repo has no official release. It would be nice if there could be releases here, that are reflected on the official site.

I see your point but unfortunately I have no access to the "official" site - it's run by the Edirom project. Maybe @roewenstrunk can help here?

As @sonovice has already indicated, there will most likely be a major update soon and in the process we will also introduce releases.
