The signalfx client is in v3 https://github.com/signalfx/golib/blob/master/sfxclient/README.md .
Whereas this project seems to be using still the initial version.

Would it make sense to update the dependency ?

And in general revive this project (also in terms of Go version and features ? i.e. modules etc ... )

@bogdandrutu , @vcasadei is there any intention to continue supporting this project ?
