Do NOT put your device in a freezer and jailbreak it. Put your device in front of a high throttle fan instead.

both sometimes work and sometimes don't for different people

I have tried to jailbreak by putting my device in the freezer and the device died and the battery monitor was not accurate from how cold it is.
