[ Feature ] bubble charts

would it be possible to implement bubble charts ? bubble charts allow for the display of three datatypes at once, the x and y, but also the bubble size . useful for displaying analytics data showing multiple objects as well as a property, such as size, activity, etc . could it be implemented as a plugin ? it seems like the plugin api isn't really designed to accomodate new chart types, so i'm not sure how i would approach this should i try to implement it .
