Line Chart data is not clipped properly

Hi,

As per the attached image line chart data is not clipped when outside the range

X-axis scales is a time unit with min and max dates

Data of 9-Jan-2021 is outside the x-axis time unit max date: 31-Dec-2020

Could you help on this?

This issue seems to be fixed in master (upcoming v2.8), maybe by #5790.
