I think using Apprise is a better idea. Apprise has everything for notification, even SMS.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Yeah, I have been thinking to improve notification.
It will be a low priority as Slack is working fine for now.

I already had a plan to make a browser notification. I will take a look Apprise. :)
