  1. Select one block by CMD+A.
  2. Clear selection
  3. Select one block by CMD+A again
  4. All blocks will be selected instead of one block.

Sorry to bump a zombie thread, but what is the expected behavior for Cmd + A and hitting `delete'? Currently, the caret jumps to the end of the previous block...
