The wire.js internals are clearly not for end-users, but there are utilities that are incredibly useful for plugin developers. A changes was made between 0.10.1 and 0.10.2 that broke the msgs/wire module.

Having a clear set up APIs that are 'stable' for plugin authors is just as important as stable APIs for end-users.
