Automated testing of Canvas rendered UI

Hi Cypress,

We (Nevron) have a customer that wants to test the NOV components for Blazor-WebAssembly, but complain that Cypress is not able to record test cases in canvas elements. The NOV components for Blazor-WebAssembly are rendered in a canvas element and do not use any HTML markup. Do you have any suggestions on what needs to be implemented in our framework to support automated testing in Cypress. Also do you have any plans to expand automated testing to canvas rendered elements - as these my often be charts, diagrams etc.w
