If SD Maids storage location is set to SDCARD (in Android 6.0s app management), rebooting will wipe any persisted uri permission, requiring permission to be granted again on next launch.

This only takes effect on reboot, changing the storage location itself has no negative impact.

Similar to this issue, but only if the storage location is "SD card":

Seems to be a framework bug that will be fixed with Android Nougat.
