One example of a minigame would be a real-time action game like Smash TV, where the player walks around and fires in 8 (or 6, in this case) directions, defeating wave after wave of enemies (raiders?) spawning on the level.
This would be in real time combat as opposed to FO2's traditional turn-based combat, and have real time movement as in non-combat mode in FO2.
