The console gives me a message that says that I shouldn't be pasting code in which I don't know what's going on, do my question is: Is it safe for me to run it? And obviously, please don't just answer "yes", so that I just have to trust what you're saying, if possible, provide some reasons or tools to justify your answer

This is a non-profit open source project. The code is right there in plain sight. However, if you don't feel comfortable using it, I genuinely recommend that you don't.
