Describe what should be investigated or refactored

Figure out if there's a way to meaningfully bring the load tests to the pipeline. If it is determined that they can be integrated meaningfully into the pipeline, add them to the pipeline.

Additional context

  • The test probably doesn't need to be run with every push to a branch, there was some suggestion of running it nightly.
  • Consider running the tests outside of github actions, https://testgrid.io/ was suggested. @gphorvath has context on this.
