I'm building a Rails API with a separate web frontend app as "just another API client" (various smartphone apps to follow as well). In the previous "monolithic" version of the service, where all the server side was rolled into one Rails app, we used OmniAuth to allow users to # with Facebook, Twitter and a few other services.
I see from https://github.com/songkick/oauth2-provider#using-assertions that OAuth "assertions" might be the key in letting us keep this convenient "# with [external ID provider]" feature while securing our API with OAuth.
Are assertions supported in Doorkeeper, and if so how do we use them?
