Place cursor in search results when using a new tab #4

Coming from Chrome, one obvious difference I'm noticing is that in a normal workflow, I do the following:

  • cmd + t # new tab
  • enter search text and hit enter
  • duckduckgo results displayed

In that scenario, my cursor is left up in the address bar so I can't take advantage of the hjkl vim-like commands the extension provides.

However, if I do the following:

  • cmd + l # move cursor to address bar in existing tab
  • enter search text and hit enter
  • duckduckgo results displayed

Then my cursor is positioned on the first search result and I can use the extensions commands freely.

Can we enable the extension so when using new tabs it still drops the cursor down in the search results?
