We only need the height and width to place an image, so we might not need to wait the hole image be loaded.

Or, it had been achieved?

Apparently, it had been achieved. You can test it by blocking all image requests. Adding "127.0.0.1 cdn.duitang.com" to your hosts file seems to be a simple method.
I have a plan to make a new one only for mobile, since current one performs badly in mobile.
