Zero-shot Object Recyclability Prediction using General Vision-Language Model

Code Repository for the paper How to Recycle: General Vision-Language Model without Task Tuning for Predicting Object Recyclability This paper has been accepted to NeurIPS 2023 Workshop on Tackling Climate Change with Machine Learning: Blending New and Existing Knowledge Systems.

To reproduce the results of the paper, we recommend using Python 3.10.9 and downloading the required libraries from the requirements.txt file. The data used in this study can be found in the ./data folder. Images can also be found on Harvard Dataverse. The result files can be found in the ./results/ folder.
