From the supported-plugins issue traker:

It's nice to change status / block / delete someone only by commands...

/busy
/online
/away
/appearoff
/delete
/block

/away "Status" ... /away "Went to sleep ...", sets status to away and message to Went to sleep.

It's that easy to implement?
I might give it a try ...
