part1.5/main.cpp:29: error: 'exit' was not declared

header with declaration needed

include <stdlib.h>

or better
replace "exit(0)" with "return 0"

platform Linux 2.6.31-gentoo-r10 #11 SMP, i686-pc-linux-gnu-4.3.4
