Would you like to take a stab at implementing this @Ethan-000? We'd be open to merging it.

I'd prefer to have the bibtex alongside the rendered form (so display both what we have today, and the bibtex.)

GitHub has support for CITATION.cff as well, https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/managing-your-repositorys-settings-and-features/customizing-your-repository/about-citation-files

It generates a Bibtex citation as well
