Switch to an open source software license

Could you please re-license this project under an open source software license, such as MIT or GPL?

Commercial entities will have a hard time using this code in production with the CC BY 4.0 license, which is not intended for software.

Thank you for the suggestion. Our primary intention is to allow researchers and enthusiasts to replicate our findings and extend the codebase under permissive licence. We invite commercial users to write to us directly.
