There is a strange issue with black in the pre-commit hook. It appears to be causing a formatting change that flake8 then disagrees with. The 1.8.0 stack removes flake8 and makes other changes, and we may want to move to ruff for auto-formatting too, so I'm not going to sweat just commenting out black. |
