It is possible to track changes to a company listing, using the PaperTrail gem

https://github.com/paper-trail-gem/paper_trail

Example:

Someone changes the Name of a company.
Admin can see who changed the Name
Admin can see all Names that the company has had in the past
Ability to restore to an older version
