This document describes what tools are needed for building game, what you as user/developer can do to help and make contributions that would most likely to be accepted by main developers.
If you are just starting out and would like to get in touch with development team, drop a message in our Discord server in #code-chat channel.
Building game is quite straightforward. Download source code and point Ren'Py to your freshly downloaded source code.
- Name your commits meaningful and concisely, not just "fix everything" commits.
- Ensure that your commits are well-formed and follow the Conventional Commit Format.
When submitting a pull request, please ensure you have a detailed description of the changes you are making, this is a critical part of the process to ensure that the pull request is accepted.
